While it’s important for celebrities to look glamorous when they walk the red carpet, that doesn’t mean they have to sacrifice comfort, which is something that Jameela Jamil definitely understands.
The Good Place actress kicked off awards show season in comfort by stepping out at the Golden Globes earlier this month wearing jeans tucked under her dress for extra warmth! The actress opted for something similar for the Critics’ Choice Awards and opted to skip the stiletto heels for something a little more comfortable — combat boots! Jamil shared a photo on Twitter flashing her outfit for her followers. “Oscar De La Renta. In comfort. Ankle boots. The British way. Ready for Critics Choice benches,” she wrote. While the combat boots could subtly be seen under her sheer dress, we still praise Jamil for placing comfort as a priority.
The dress itself was stunning and featured emerald sparkle detailing that resembled a mermaid tale. We also love the sheer panels and detailing which added a unique touch. She topped the look with matching emerald earrings and a smokey eye in which she lined her lids with a similar shimmering, deep green color.
