After playing coy about their blossoming romance for quite some time former Bachelorette contestant Wells Adams has finally opened up about his relationship with stunning Modern Family star Sarah Hyland.
On Wednesday, November 8, Adams appeared on The Morning Breath show where he open talked about dating Hyland and revealed how they first met, which to no surprise was on social media. “The internet — it’s amazing!” he said when asked about how the romance got started. He added that he didn’t think people would pick up on their Twitter flirtations so quickly as he was out of the spotlight following his stint as the bartender on Bachelor in Paradise’s most recent season. “I’m amazed how smart the internet is. Because I just assume everyone on Twitter is an idiot, and then I’m like, ‘Wow!'”
In the summer, fans of Hyland noticed how many tweets she sent in the direction of Adams following his time on JoJo Fletcher’s Bachelorette season, tweeting, “Ugh! @WellsAdams making a Lord of the Flies reference on men tell all??? #knewhewasthebestfromthestar #menwhoreadarehot.”
After the pair finally met up in real life, it is clear sparks flew and they went public with their relationship this past Halloween as they donned Stranger Things themed costumes and have since shared many adorable coupled up photos on Instagram.
When pressed further about his relationship, Adams said, “There’s nothing really to say. Like, if you want to know — to be fair, if you want to know anything, just look on my social media.” While the relationship may still be new, he also revealed that the two are already looking ahead to next year’s Halloween. “We did talk about next year’s one, and we’ve got a really good [idea],” he said. “It’s definitely in the vein of two things that we love dearly, and gender-bending happens again.”
