This past week hasn’t been the easiest for Vin Diesel.
The action hero and his Fast 8 co-star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson have been embroiled in a highly publicized feud and to make matters worse it was all during the last week of filming of the highly anticipated movie. Now that he is back home, Diesel took to his Instagram to remind us all about the friendship he had with his late Fast and Furious co-star Paul Walker.
In the Instagram video, Diesel begins by saying he is about to go watch a cut of his new film xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, but wanted to share a story first about how Walker’s absence has affected both him and his family. “My son earlier this morning, we were going over his birthday list, and he said, ‘I want Paul [Walker] to come. And then he said, ‘I really miss him.’ Paul came to his second birthday in London while we were shooting Fast 6,” Diesel explained of the sad but sweet moment.
Meanwhile, despite not fully speaking out about the current tension from Fast 8, Diesel posted another Instagram video earlier in the week saying he would explain “everything.” It seems, however, he may have referred to the feud in his message about his son and Paul Walker because in the beginning when talking about his xXx film he commented that everyone involved is excited to “unveil this incredible film, a film that everyone worked hard on and everyone loved each other on, it was just a great experience.”
