Good news Terminator fans, Arnold Schwarzenegger was not lying when he said, “I’ll be back”, because he is back for Terminator: Genisys and looks better than ever.
Since The Terminator hit theatres in 1984 starring Arnold, the series has gone through several casting changes and several storylines but now with the original Terminator back in action, Genisys looks very promising.
This time Jason Clarke takes on the role of John Connor while Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke will take over as Sarah Connor, and Jai Courtney will be Kyle Reese, the soldier sent to protect Sarah who ends up being the father to John.
The twist this time though is that Reese is sent back to a time that no longer exists when he gets there and an interesting scene shows a current Arnold coming face to face with himself as the evil terminator from the first film saying, “I’ve been waiting for you.”
In the new time period Sarah Connor is a terminator fighter and drops the iconic line, “come with me if you want to live,” as well fans are teased with a glimpse of a new T-1000 model and of course lots of action.
It is up to Sarah and Kyle to stop “judgement day” from even happening but fans will have to wait until the film comes to theatres in July 2015 to find out if they succeed.
