Are Phyllis and Tara becoming fast friends, or is this simply the way Red sizes up a potential nemesis? Is she obeying the old adage, “keep your friends close and your enemies closer”?
Sharon will be reunited with an old friend. Since there’s no asterisk hovering over the word “friend”, it probably won’t be Grace Turner. But we can dream for that character return, can’t we?
It sounds like Abby and Tessa will be overwhelmed with worry today. Does that mean that Mariah will still be out of contact? If she’s actually in danger, could this have to do with the mysterious figure lurking Chancellor Estate?

Let’s tally our list of people who know about Sami’s affair with Lucas: Kristen, Jake, Gabi, and we’ll give Nicole and Ava the credit because they’re almost there. Oh, and now Philip as well, since Lucas just had to fill him in! So, who’s still in the dark, besides (presumably) E.J.?
Speaking of Mrs. DiMera, Sami clearly hasn’t lived in a glass house before; if she had, she wouldn’t still be trying to blackmail Nicole over her one-night stand with Xandy. Today she’ll make an offer to Xander, which would incriminate Nicole right as her husband makes his return!
Gwen will have to face Eli, as he has questions about Dr. Snyder’s demise. Although her pedigree for lying is top shelf, there won’t be any room for error this time.

Brook Lynn is already on edge right now, so a surprise from Nina will not be something she’s ready for.
Maybe BLQ’s irritability is the result of something in the waters of Port Charles. After all, Carly and Gladys will have an intense confrontation today, while Curtis and Portia try to clear the air, after letting things build up for awhile.
Now that Anna has a better idea where her relationship with Finn stands, she’ll have better footing as she maneuvers a possible new one with Valentin.
Meanwhile, in exciting Nixon Falls, Sonny waits for Lenny to make contact. (Cue a tumbleweed rolling by the Tan-O.)
