Robert Pattinson is heating up the cover of the new issue of The Hollywood Reporter — and inside, he makes a surprising admission: he and Kristen Stewart still talk.
In the cover story, the 28 year-old Twilight star gives a lengthy interview about his career, fame, and money. But what Twi-hards really want to know is the state of his tumultuous relationship with Kristen. Rob refuses to give much detail about his ex, but when he was asked if they still speak, he gave a somewhat surprising answer, given how things turned out. Check out the video for his exact quote!
Rob also says that he’s never been on a real vacation; he’s only traveled for work since all of the Twilight craziness began. He also doesn’t seem interested in a lavish celebrity lifestyle, and even sold his 6-bedroom house in Los Feliz, California, because it was just too much for one person.
“It was too big a house,” he explained. “It was incredible, like Versailles. It was absolutely, completely crazy. It had this incredible garden, but you just stay in one room, anyway. I could basically live in a cell as long as I had a window.”
Rob, who says he’s a simple person who doesn’t really want or need anything, only spends his money on one thing: old guitars. “That’s my only expense,” he explains of his 17-guitar collection.
