Queen Elizabeth Shares Rare Behind-the-Scenes Video Of Her Buckingham Palace Garden

Queen Elizabeth has shared some rare footage of her lush gardens from behind palace doors!

It appears that spring is in full bloom in the Queen’s gardens at Buckingham Palace. While Queen Elizabeth is currently staying at Windsor Castle with Prince Philip, her royal residence in London is looking gorgeous as her flowers bloom to mark the beginning of the season.

In honor of National Gardening Week in the U.K., royal fans were given a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse of the Queen’s gardens. Mark Lane, Buckingham Palace’s head gardener, has maintained the grounds for 28 years and shared a variety of lovely images of the garden in bloom to social media.

The series includes closeups of a speckled camellia, a wisteria, the Alnwick rose, bluebells, and flowering cherry. There are also a few wide-angle shots of the gardens included as well as a panoramic video.

“This week we’re celebrating National Gardening Week, and the enormous benefits nature can have on our wellbeing — particularly during these challenging times,” the post was captioned.
