Luke Bryan has a lot going on all the time and no matter what happens and what he goes through he keeps a positive attitude and a smile on his face. Fans of the massively popular star are by now well aware of the tragedies he has suffered through his life including the loss of both his older siblings in sudden deaths.

In November 2014, seven years after Bryan’s sister Kelly died unexpectedly at the age of 39, her widowed husband Ben Lee Cheshire also suddenly passed away, leaving three teenage children behind.

As a result, Bryan and his wife Caroline have become parental figures for the three and have even taken in the youngest child, 13-year-old Til, and are now raising him alongside their own two sons. “You don’t want to sounds like you love having them so much that you’re glad it’s the situation, but we’re honored to be doing what we feel was the right thing,” he told Billboard of the adjustment to welcoming a teenager into his home.

Along with a busy home life, Bryan is still turning out hits and selling out tours and is set to release a new album next month headlined by his single “Kick the Dust Up.” Although the song is a great summer party anthem, Bryan realizes he has to shed his “frat-boy singer” image sooner than later as he is turning 40 next year.

“I always say, If I ever get to 25 No. 1s, I’d try to do all 25. I wouldn’t want one person not to hear their favorite… At some point, me singing about frat party themes is just not going to be realistic. But if I look like a weird old dude up onstage, I’ll be the first one to come to that realization.”
