Former basketball star Lamar Odom and reality TV star Khloe Kardashian were married on September 27, 2009 after only one month of knowing each other.
After a rocky relationship including their own reality TV show, Khloe and Lamar, she filed for divorce in December of 2013.
Now, almost an entire year later the divorce still is not finalized because apparently she can’t find him in order to get him to sign the papers.
“Khloe can’t even get in touch with him right now. He refuses to sign the divorce papers,” a source stated.
After being estranged for ten months and even with Khloe moving on, dating rapper French Montana for eight months, apparently Odom still holds out hope that there will be a reconciliation and the marriage can be saved.
In the summer of 2013 the marriage started to fall apart when reports of Odom’s drinking and drug abuse spread around the media and at the end of August he was pulled over and charged with a DUI.
After seemingly getting better, he signed with the New York Knicks in April 2014, but was consequently released in July with the team’s reasoning being that Odom failed to “uphold the standards to return as an NBA player.”
With his marriage and career seemingly over, it seems the Odom is not handling his fall from grace well and is clinging to his marriage with Khloe.
