Jonathan Scott shared the sweetest birthday tribute to his girlfriend, Zooey Deschanel.
The Property Brothers star posted a slideshow of photos of him and Deschanel to his Instagram on Sunday calling her “his favorite person.” He wrote in the caption, “You are caring, talented, hilarious, sweet and just as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside. I know we can’t celebrate like we did last year, but I have a few surprises up my sleeve.”
“You fill my life with so much joy,” the Property Brothers star concluded in the caption with a red heart emoji.
Last year, Deschanel turned 40 and the duo celebrated the milestone birthday with an ’80s-themed party. The event was filled with bright makeup, neon outfits, and voluminous hairstyles.
To honor the new year earlier this month, Scott shared another sweet tribute to Deschanel. “I’m dedicating this year to love, happiness and the pursuit of helping others,” the star wrote alongside a photo of the couple embracing. “I feel like I’ve got a good jumpstart on the love part.”
Deschanel also shared an adorable post dedicated to Scott at the beginning of the year. “My 2020 MVP was this guy, who always made me feel happy in spite of a weird and uncertain year,” the actress wrote. “Hoping 2021 is full of silver linings for everyone.”
