Sparkle, sparkle and more sparkle.
That appears to be the theme of Jessica Simpson’s wedding to Eric Johnson, which took place on July 5 at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California. We now have an intimate look at the ceremony and reception, thanks to a wedding video that’s just been unveiled. Oh yes, the dress. Jessica wore a stunning strapless custom-made champagne and gold Carolina Herrera ball gown, which was covered in shimmering sparkles. She also wore her long blonde hair partly down, with some swept up.
More than 250 friends and family members attended the lavish event, including celebrities Jessica Alba, Topher Grace, Ty Burrell and Donald Faison.
Jessica and Eric exchanged their vows in a rose garden under a canopy before moving the party to a candle-lit area with tons of purple, ivory, pink and green flowers, hanging vines, dramatic chandeliers, lace table cloths and golden decorations. Even the cake was golden! In another area, guests could recline on plush couches underneath trees strung with even more golden lights.
The wedding actually looks a bit more autumnal than summery, but we’re still in love!
