Jessica Simpson is a married lady — and we’re all dying to see what her dress looked like.

We’ll have all the details when the new issue of People Magazine hits newsstands on Friday, but until then, here’s what we know:

Jessica wore a dramatic custom wedding gown designed by Carolina Herrera, who also designed the black one-shoulder gown Jessica wore at the 2010 Vanity Fair Oscar party and the flowered black and white strapless gown Jessica wore to the White House Correspondents Dinner in May. (Fun fact: Carolina also designed the wedding gown that Kristen Stewart wore to wed Robert Pattinson in the Twilight movies.)

We also know that Jessica’s gown is strapless, since she’s released a wedding portrait that shows off her bare shoulders, hairstyle, veil and makeup. Take a look at the video to see the sneak peek!

One ET host commented that Jessica’s look is not so far off from what she wore to her wedding to Nick Lachey — strapless white gown, big ball skirt, etc — but this time, Jessica’s hair was a bit different. Perhaps the dress will be too?

We’ve also learned that Carolina used a blue ribbon to give Jessica that special “something blue” — we just don’t know exactly how it was used yet.

One things for sure: Jessica’s look won’t be simple or subtle. “It’ll definitely be extravagant,” she teased about her wedding back in May.
