Hannah Brown Reveals To ‘Bachelor’ Peter Weber She Regrets Choosing Jed Wyatt Over Him

ABC/John Fleenor

When Hannah Brown appeared on Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor, it didn’t take long for the two to start reminiscing about the past – and emotions began to boil over.

On Monday’s premiere of The Bachelor, Brown hosted a group date where she told all the contestants about her intimate rendezvous with Weber. However, she then realized her feelings for the pilot were still present and perhaps stronger than she was showing.

“I know I care for him,” Brown told a producer of the show. “I know that I loved him but I know it doesn’t work.”

Weber then walked into the backstage area and saw the former Bachelorette star bawling. The two began to talk about the ending of her season – where she chose Jed Wyatt instead of Weber and got engaged shortly after. Weber ended in third place, while another contestant Tyler Cameron came in second. After filming for the show wrapped up, Brown discovered that Wyatt had a girlfriend back home and she called off the engagement. On the After the Final Rose reunion special, Brown asked Cameron if he would go on a date with her. Days after the question was asked, the two spent time together but it never went beyond that.

“My heart just sank when you asked Tyler out,” Weber told her. He then admitted that when he was rewatching the reunion special, he told his family that if she wanted to try to find love again, he would be open to it. Although Weber’s gesture was kind, Brown – who shared on the live special that she and him had sex four times during their fantasy suite date – went on to say that she hasn’t heard from him and was unsure of where his heart was.

“[Tyler] was reaching out, you didn’t say anything. … I didn’t know if you wanted to get past it,” she explained. “I thought you wanted to be the Bachelor.” Brown then did reveal that “there was still something there” when they saw each other again at the after-show.

Weber then asked her if she regretted sending him home and keeping Jed and Tyler. “Yeah, Peter, I question it all the time,” Brown shared. “[Picking Jed] was comfortable. It was falling back into the same thing but, like, I broke everybody’s heart and my own through this experience.”

During their conversation, she also said she would consider joining his season of The Bachelor. Weber then admitted that when he saw her get out of the limo, there was a part of him that hoped she would be staying.

At the end of the 3-hour-long premiere, Weber’s emotions were running high in an interview with the producers.

“I can’t help how my heart feels. I look at her and I just don’t want to stop looking at her,” the California native said. “I want to just kiss her and just, like, had all this work out and it didn’t and I know it didn’t.”

The Bachelor airs every Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
