Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) actress Cady McClain is hoping to set the record straight after her previous comments led some fans to believe she disliked her time on The Young and the Restless (Y&R).
The soap veteran took to Twitter on Tuesday, November 29th to shed light on some misinformation she’s spotted in the press.
“It’s very unfortunate that some sites will try and make something out of nothing said,” McClain stated. “I’m grateful to have worked on Y&R. It was a dream job come true.”

While the actress didn’t point out which articles she disagreed with, her statement is likely intended to address comments she made to Soap Opera Digest in September.
While discussing the fun she’s had on various daytime drama sets, McClain got quiet upon the mention of Genoa City. “Y&R, I did not find to be a very funny set,” she said. “I found it to be pretty… Gosh, you know, it’s hard to talk about Y&R, that experience.”
It sounds like McClain has decided that she might be better off saying something about her time portraying Kelly Andrews, rather than let theories run rampant.
“I had many good times and always focused on doing my best work,” McClain continued on Twitter. “Glad to have had the experience.”
McClain has worked all over daytime television during her 40-plus years in show business, including stops on All My Children and As The World Turns.
