Fans were shocked when Arie Luyendyk was announced as this season’s Bachelor, but he quickly stole their hearts with his debut episode last week. Many will remember Arie from Emily Maynard’s season where he was a contestant on the Bachelorette in 2012 and now he is looking for love again!
Reality Steve is notorious for posting spoilers about the Bachelor seasons and even revealing the final four and ultimate winner, so follow along as we recap episode two as well as the chosen contestant who Arie gives his final rose to.
This week’s episode of The Bachelor consists of two one-on-one dates and one group date. The first one-on-one is given to Becca Kufrin, who is rumoured to be the winner in the end by Reality Steve! It’s rare that the first one-on-one is given to the winner, which makes Reality Steve’s prediction of Becca as the winner come as quite the surprise!
The second one-on-one is given to Krystal Nielson who much of this season’s drama will surround. Becca has revealed she is not on the show to make friends and is simply there to win Arie’s affection. Their date consists of a trip to Arie’s hometown in Arizona, which also comes as quite the surprise since it’s still early on in the season! The two meet Arie’s parents, dog and even attend a private concert together.
The group date consists of a Demolition Derby in which the girls are required to decorate cars then compete in a bumper car-style competition. Reality Steve predicts that contestant Brittany Taylor is injured throughout the competition and is hospitalized which leaves her unable to attend the after party. Sienne wins the group date competition and is given a rose at the after party which means she is safe during this week’s elimination round.
This episode, it will ultimately be Valerie Biles, Lauren Griffin, and Jenny Delaney who are eliminated!
Reality Steve has further broken down this season’s spoilers by revealing the final four: Tia Booth, Kendall Long, Lauren Burnham and Becca Kufrin, however it is ultimately Becca who Arie proposes to and gives the final rose in the end!
