On the season finale of Dancing With the Stars on Monday night – which Hannah Brown competed as one of the final four – ABC aired two teaser trailers from the upcoming season of The Bachelor, which featured a reunion between Brown and the show’s new bachelor, Peter Weber.

In the first trailer, Weber – who finished third on Brown’s Bachelorette season – was surprised by Brown’s unexpected visit.

“I’m so confused right now. What are you doing here?” Weber asks his former ex.

“I’m making decisions for my heart,” Brown told him, while they sat side-by-side on a couch. “Because I know there’s still something there. And I would do anything for a relationship.”

Peter then proceeds to invite his ex to join the rest of the women who are competing in his upcoming season in 2020.

“Hannah Brown, what I’m about to say is extremely crazy. What would you say if I asked you to come and be part of the house?” Weber asked Brown.

In a second promo that aired later during the DWTS finale, Brown is shown exiting out of a limo at the Bachelor mansion.

Brown’s reunion with Weber came as a shock to many Bachelor fans, and this included Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise alum Demi Burnett who was present in the Dancing With the Stars crowd when the first trailer aired. Burnett was also caught shaking her head in disbelief while the teaser played.

The trailer also featured kissing, tears, a shirtless Weber, a steamy makeout, and a contestant who tells the bachelor that she is thinking about leaving the show.

“You can’t do these things with other women or I’m leaving,” the woman said.

“I don’t want this just to feel like it’s all about sex, but I have been intimate. I can’t lie to you about that,” replied Weber.

“I’m so done. It just hurts. It hurts really bad,” said the contestant who was in tears. “I can’t understand how she can give up. There’s so much right now that’s just destroying my heart,” admitted Weber.

The trailer then ends with footage of a plane soaring through the sky with the camera following a rose petal as it floats across the screen. The next show then pans to a windmill, which Peter exits out of while holding a single red rose.

In Brown’s season of the Bachelorette, she ended things with the pilot during the season finale in July. She revealed to PEOPLE that her decision to end things wasn’t made lightly.

“I was in love with Peter,” Brown told PEOPLE. “I was pulled into different directions every other day. But I had to make a decision. I felt like my heart was broken.”

The Bachelor will premiere on January 6, 2020, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
