Young And The Restless (Y&R) fans will be treated to a classic episode today that features Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) first wedding.
On March 17, Fame10 reported that producers of the Y&R were halting production for two weeks. And it looks like the production halts will last much longer than that.
Y&R announced they would be running classic episodes every week. Starting next week, according to TV Guide listings, viewers will see original episodes from Monday to Wednesday and classic episodes on Thursday and Friday.
Longtime Y&R fans will recall, that as Victor and Nikki prepared to wed, Victor’s secretary Eve Howard (Margaret Mason), who was in love with Victor, planned to seek revenge on Nikki. Also featured in this episode was Nikki’s best friend Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper), Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) attending with Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and her fiancé Eric Garrison (Brian Matthews).
Victor and Nikki’s wedding was one of the highest-rated Y&R episodes of all time. New Y&R episodes will resume on CBS on April 6.
