Young and the Restless alum Abby Dalton has sadly passed away.
Reports have shared that the actress passed on November 23, in Los Angeles after a long battle with illness. She was 88-years old.
Dalton was best known for her role as Julia Channing Cumson on Falcon Crest and the role of Joey Bishop’s wife on The Joey Bishop Show from 1962 to 1965. Soap opera fans will also likely recognize Dalton as Lydia Summers on Young and the Restless.
“She was charming and delightful. She was really one of the funniest people I’ve ever met,” Dalton’s daughter Kathleen Kinmont shared with the Daily News.
“She was extraordinarily talented in so many ways. She just adored the business and was very strong,” Kinmont continued. “Being young and beautiful and stepping into it when she did, there wasn’t any type of protection like there is now. She didn’t put up with any nonsense.”
