Nicole Kidman is as stunning as ever as she graces Elle magazine’s cover for the January issue and with a new movie, Paddington, slated for a Christmas release in the U.K. as well as several other projects in the works, the 47 year old is still enjoying a successful professional life as well as a personal one.
In her interview with the magazine Kidman opened up about her marriage to fellow Australian and famous country singer, Keith Urban, 47.
The two have now been happily married for eight years and still write each other love letters but it is surprising to learn the two got hitched after only one month of dating.
“I kind of like getting married and then getting to know each other. I know that sounds incredibly strange, but to me, it’s a more natural process,” she stated.
While the two already have a beautiful family with daughters Sunday Rose, 6, and Faith Margaret, 4, the actress also admitted to always hoping for more.
“I had my last one at 43. My grandmother had her last at 49. Every month, I’m like, ‘I hope I’m pregnant!’…I wish I was!” she said enthusiastically.
Along with her two daughters with Urban, Kidman is also mom to two adopted children with her ex-husband Tom Cruise.
The famous couple were together for eleven years, adopting a son, Connor Anthony, 19, and a daughter Isabella Jane, 22.
Kidman also briefly commented on working with her then husband Cruise in reference to the two-year filming for 1999’s Eyes Wide Shut, “We loved it. Everyone thought that was when our marriage started to break down, not at all. That movie was a great part of our life together, and I’m glad we have it.”
