‘The Masked Singer’ Reveals Celebrity Behind Taco

Wednesday night’s episode of The Masked Singer was an exhilarating one with Group B’s remaining four contestants!

The group sang their hearts out for a spot in the final three of the show’s Super Nine. Returning judges Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, and Nicole Scherzinger were joined by guest judge and season one winner T-Pain, while Nick Cannon served as emcee once again.

Before the competitors performed on stage, the four contestants sang Backstreet Boys’ “Larger Than Life” as a group.

Just like with Group A, Group B’s clue packages featured the contestants’ loved ones providing hints about their masked pals’ true identities. First was Kitty, whose childhood friend revealed a few secrets about the feline singer. Then she performed “Mama’s Broken Heart” by Miranda Lambert. Next up was Taco, their famous friend– who was in disguise, of course – talked about the performer, who then performed his rendition of Four Tops’ “Can’t Help Myself.” Going up next was Banana, whose family presented clues about the masked singer, then they sang “Lean on Me” by Bill Withers. Finally Frog’s “team member” gave a tour of what Frog’s world is like, and then her performed Gap Band’s “You Dropped a Bomb on Me.”

After the four performances, it was time for the audience and panelists to vote for their favorite performances, and unfortunately, Taco got chopped. The celebrity behind the Taco was none other than Tom Bergeron, host of Dancing with the Stars and former America’s Funniest Home Videos!

Bergeron will join other eliminated Masked Singer contestants so far: RobotLlamaMiss MonsterElephant, and Mouse.

Next week’s episode viewers will get to meet Group C – Astronaut, Swan, Rhino, Bear, Night Angel, and T-Rex – perform on stage!

The Masked Singer airs every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
