Fans of the cult-favorite show Property Brothers had a pleasant surprise Monday night when contestant Drew Scott was joined on stage by his identical twin brother and HGTV costar Jonathan Scott!
The theme of the evening was “Most Memorable Year” and Drew and his partner Emma Slater chose 2007 since it was the year he realized his two passions: television and real estate. Before this year, Drew revealed that he struggled to make it as an actor. “Seeing Drew, my identical twin brother, struggling, it was heartbreaking,” Jonathan revealed of his twin. “His spirit was just beaten and broken.”
Drew and Emma performed a jive to the tune “Don’t Stop Me Now” to which Jonathan surprised everyone with his guest appearance in the dance. Luckily, the bold move paid off and Len Goodman coined the performance Drew’s best yet. “You’re on a roll, that was twice as much fun, twice the energy,” he gushed. The lively dance landed the trio a 24/30.
After the performance, Jonathan admitted, “That was the most stressful thing I’ve ever done in my life.” He also revealed to co-host Erin Andrews that he was offered a spot on the cast list but denied the offer. “You should’ve accepted out invitation to be on the show. You missed your calling!” she joked.
Dancing With The Stars airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
