Kate Middleton held 1-year old son Prince Louis for his adorable balcony debut at the Trooping the Color ceremony this past weekend!

The appearance marked Louis’ first public royal event to officially celebrate his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II’s 93rd birthday. He made his debut on the Buckingham Palace balcony alongside his siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The appearance made for some adorable photos and Louis proved that he’s following in his siblings’ footsteps when it comes to mastering the art of the royal wave!

For the special appearance, Louis wore a white and blue outfit that was actually passed down through both Prince William and Prince Harry. William first wore the ensemble for a trip to Balmoral in 1984 with his father, Prince Charles, and late mother, Princess Diana. The outfit was then passed down to Prince Harry who wore it to the Trooping the Color ceremony in 1986.
