Morena Baccarin and Ben McKenzie are expecting their second child!
Baccarin announced on Friday during an appearance on The Talk that she is expecting her second child with her husband Ben McKenzie.
Baccarin was asked on the show about a photo she had posted on Instagram of McKenzie wearing blue nail polish and costume jewelry.
“Look, times have changed. What we now call date night is being able to take a walk outside together,” Baccarin, who shares 4-year-old daughter Frances Laiz with McKenzie, shared. “Ben very cleverly found a way to get them involved by asking Frances to help him get ready for the date. I don’t think he was expecting the blue nail polish and the bracelets and everything, but I think it looks good on him.”
Following the story, co-host Carrie Ann Inaba remarked that Baccarin was “glowing,” to which the actress replied by standing up to reveal her baby bump, adding, “I think that date was pretty successful.”
This will be the third child for Baccarin and the second for McKenzie. Baccarin is also mom to 7-year-old son Julius from her previous relationship with director Austin Chick.
Baccarin and McKenzie married on June 2, 2017, which also happened to be Baccarin’s 38th birthday. The couple wed in a private ceremony at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens in Brooklyn, New York.
