The Duchess of Sussex has opened up about what’s happening behind the scenes during the royal Africa tour!
Meghan shared how she’s managing to juggle being a mother with her royal duties and how grateful she is for everyone being flexible and supporting her. “We’re doing well,” she told reporters following her visit to a local school near Johannesburg. “I think the schedule — they have been very kind to me, because everything is based around Archie’s feeding times. So it’s a full plate.”
Meghan also shared how happy she is to be on tour in South Africa and that she and Harry have managed to smoothly balance parenting a five-month-old with all their official engagements. “We’re making it work,” Meghan explained. “It’s worth it.”
Meghan also spoke out about how she’s felt being on her own while Harry embarked on solo visits to Malawi, Angola, and Botswana. “Harry has continued on in a couple [of] other countries — we are reuniting today, which I can’t wait for, I miss him so much! But I think for us it has been a really special trip because you get to see when you’re focusing on the causes that are really important to us, you can see that the impact is good, and it feels meaningful.”
The couple has officially reunited to wrap up the tour and were spotted together this morning for a visit to a township in Johannesburg!
