As she settles into a new chapter of her life in Los Angeles, Meghan Markle is still keeping in close contact with her beloved British charities from abroad.

The Duchess was spotted for the first time since her move to L.A. on video chat with some of the women at the Hubb Community Kitchen. One of Meghan’s first moves as a royal was when she collaborated with the women at Hubb Kitchen on a cookbook, so it’s clearly a charity that is close to her heart.

The video call took place on April 14 and Meghan looked casual and simple in a plain white tee with her hair pulled back into a sleek low bun. She spoke with some of the kitchen managers about their latest food-giving project and reminisced about collaborating on TogetherOur Community Cookbook.

“You showed up and you all had it in you and what was so great was back at that first day, and then however many visits later, and going, ‘Yeah, we’re just going to make a cookbook,’ ” Meghan said during the call.

She added how it was their “faith in what you can bring to the table and what you can inspire” that helped make their cookbook a “huge success.”
