After a highly successful Australian and New Zealand tour this past fall, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now headed off on their next international location — Meghan Markle’s home base in America and Canada!

According to royal correspondent Katie Nicholl, Meghan and Harry had initially planned their visit to take place in early 2019, but they had to postpone their trip due to Meghan’s pregnancy and limited ability to travel. Their new plan is to visit America and Canada after Meghan has given birth, but the exact dates have yet to be released. Many are expecting that the tour will take place in fall 2019 after Meghan has taken her maternity leave. Rumor has it that Meghan even wants to bring the newborn along for the tour!

In the meantime until the royal baby is born, Meghan has asked her royal aides to book up her schedule right until her due date and that she “wants to continue working as long as possible.” She’s also reportedly voiced that after the baby is born she is planning to take a short, 6-months or less maternity leave in order to get right back to work.

We can’t wait to have Duchess Meghan back in the countries of her roots this coming Fall!
