Press Association

The Sussexes are back after their six-week holiday break!

Meghan and Harry announced they would be taking a few weeks off near the holidays for much-needed family time after a jam-packed year of royal engagements and tours. While it was initially not disclosed where they would be spending their holidays, it was later revealed the royal duo was having a winter getaway in Canada!

After spending time in the country, Meghan and Harry have announced they will be visiting Canada House in London upon their return “to thank them for the warm Canadian hospitality and support they received during their recent stay in Canada.”

The appearance will be taking place on Tuesday, January 7th and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will meet with Janice Charette, High Commissioner in Canada to the U.K. They will be visiting the Canada Gallery to view an exhibition by Indigenous Canadian artist Skawennati and meet members of the team who support the partnership between Canada and the UK.

Meghan and Harry last visited Canada House in March 2019 when they celebrated Commonwealth Day. Canada definitely has a special place in Meghan’s heart since she used to call Toronto home while she filmed Suits.

We can’t wait to see another year filled with engagements and events featuring the Duke and Duchess of Sussex!
