Scott Disick seems to be taking his treatment seriously this time, as the notorious party boy entered rehab once again over the first weekend of October, and has stayed, which is not typical for his other rehab stays.
While he is dedicated to getting help, his children’s grandmother Kris Jenner was spotted bringing his three children, Mason, 5, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 10 months, who he shares with Kourtney Kardashian, to the Cliffside Malibu center on Sunday, Oct. 25.
Disick’s most recent stint in rehab marks his fourth attempt to get treatment and comes after he and Kourtney split in July after nine years together, while sources are also stating that the nearly fatal overdose of his friend Lamar Odom has really hit him hard and has acted as a sort of wake up call for Disick.
He is also taking this stay so seriously because now that he and Kourtney have broken up, he knows he has to straighten up before a judge will let him have his kids. “He’s doing better. He has cut out a lot of the bad influence in his life, and is trying to focus on getting back to normal. He’s still got demons; they haven’t gone away. But now he recognizes that he has those demons, which is a big step for Scott. He hasn’t acknowledged his struggles before, not in a meaningful way. He’s always just wanted to hold on and hope that he’ll do okay. Now he’s digging deeper,” a source told People. “Scott needs to feel a responsibility for himself and his kids,” the source added. “He is getting there. It needs to not be about making Kourtney happy, which is what he always focused on. He knows he needs to focus on doing what’s right because it’s right. He needs to realize that everything about his kids is his responsibility.”
