John Travolta shared a heartfelt tribute to his late wife Kelly Preston on the first Mother’s Day since her passing.
Travolta took to Instagram on Sunday and shared two family photos of himself with Kelly. The caption shared his love for Preston who passed on July 12, 2020, after a battle with breast cancer at the age of 57.
The couple shares two children together: Ella, 21, and Benjamin, 10. The couple also had a son named Jett who passed away in 2009 at the age of 16 after suffering from a seizure.
“Dearest Kelly, you brought into my life three of the most wonderful children I have ever known,” John wrote in the Mother’s Day post. “Thank you. We love and miss you. Happy Mother’s Day.”
John wrote the caption alongside a sweet carousel post of him and Kelly with their children over the years. The first photo shows John and Kelly lying on a bed while John holds up their newborn son Benjamin and their daughter Ella rests her head on his shoulder.
The second photo shows Kelly holding their late son Jett while John stands beside her and they both smile wide at the camera.
