Donny Boaz has announced the date he will return to The Young and the Restless as Chance Chancellor!
It’s been a few weeks since Y&R fans last saw Donny Boaz as Chance Chancellor on the daytime soap opera. The role was recently recast after Boaz had tested positive for coronavirus and was forced to leave the show and isolate. Boaz’s co-star Melissa Ordway’s real-life husband Justin Gaston quickly stepped in to play Chance while Boaz was away.
Boaz has since shared his return date to the show and added that he’s looking forward to it. The actor shared a screenshot of a photo of himself from the show smiling ear-to-ear. “This is how happy I feel to be back at work,” he wrote. He continued to reveal that he would be back on screen as Chance starting on Friday, December 18.
He added, “Spoiler Alert: I think Melissa Ordway and I had one of the best, most magical scenes we’ve ever shot today. She is sooo good and sooo talented. I feel lucky to get front row seats to watch her work.”
