Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez used to be close friends — so why doesn’t Demi even follow Selena on Twitter anymore?
When Demi, 21, sat down with Andy Cohen on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, he put her in the hot seat with a question about their friendship.
Asking about to the Twitter unfollowing, Demi got a little awkward and tried to avoid the question, but Andy probed further. “Are people reading too much into it?” he asked. “Are they making up something that doesn’t exist?”
Demi finally did offer some kind of answer, even if it’s diplomatic and kind of general. Check out the video to see what happened between Demi and Selena!
Demi and Selena were friends for years, first cast together on the kids show Barney & Friends when Selena was seven.
Back in February, Demi shared some photos of Selena and her together as kids — but it appears that they’ve had some kind of falling out since then.
“I went from a life of having 200 fake friends to having just a handful of really incredible people in my life that I can trust and that I am still friends with to this day,” Demi said about her experience going through rehab and battling an eating disorder.
