MTV VMA Awards 2018: Best Dressed Stars

The MTV VMA Awards took place last night which attracted everyone from Cardi B to Blake Lively to Millie Bobby Brown on the red carpet. Typically the outfits at the event are quite glamorous and fashion-forward, but last night there were a handful of stars who stood out from the rest. Follow along for 12 of the best-dressed stars from the 2018 MTV VMA Awards:

12. Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande stunned on the red carpet last night with new fiancee Pete Davidson on her arm. The star showed off her deeply bronzed skin wearing a metallic, high-shine minidress. She paired the look with sparkling over the knee boots and passed up on her signature ponytail for long, flowing brunette tresses.

11. Rose Bertram

Belgian model and Instagram star Rose Bertram took a well-rewarded risk on this year’s VMA red carpet. The star wore a crisp white dress that featured a dramatic train and avant-garde layered detailing on the hip. We love the pops of metallic tulle on the skirt and the fact that she took a risk to be unique and stand out with her fashion.

10. Maddie Ziegler

Dance Moms star Maddie Ziegler looked both youthful and sophisticated on the VMA red carpet this year. She’s become a regular attendee of high-profile events this year and she’s proven to be quite the fashionista. Silk and satin textures were huge this year and her decision to rock this bubblegum pink satin set nailed the trend while still looking glam and girly.

Shay Mitchell always kills the red carpet fashion game, but especially for this year’s VMA Awards! 3. Millie Bobby Brown

Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown brought an air of sophistication and class to the VMA red carpet. Many celebs typically go through an awkward phase as teenagers in the Hollywood scene, but Millie has proven she is polished, yet still youthful, and has seemingly skipped this phase altogether. Her two-piece set was whimsical with the crop top and tulle shoulder detailing, yet the fact that it was black grounded it and made it come across elegant instead of childish.
