There’s nothing like the actions of a foolish driver to ruin a fun evening. Fortunately, for Jennifer Lopez, her children and BFF, Leah Remini, everyone remained unhurt after a two car accident this weekend.
Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini were out enjoying a little cruise with the kids. As good drivers should, the ladies and kiddos were sitting at a red light, waiting for it to change. Unexpectedly, they were rear ended by a man in a truck, who then pulled away, and proceeded to flee from the scene.
Yes, when people speed away from an accident they were involved in, it usually means they were doing something wrong. Either they didn’t have insurance, had a warrant out for their arrest or they had one too many drinks, and shouldn’t have been on the road in the first place.
At the time of the accident, the driver was alleged to have been intoxicated. Shortly thereafter, the perpetrator was arrested, taken into custody and charged with a few crimes instead of the one DUI.
Jennifer posted a photo after the incident, and shared her frustrations, but more so her gratitude that no one was hurt during the accident. It likely won’t keep the two old friends from cruising together in the future. It’s just one more story that adds to their rich history of time spent together.
