Nick must’ve gotten the taste for competition after busting Billy in Adam’s hotel room last week. Why else would he agree to take on the impetuous Abbott, with Victor’s permission? Next to Adam and Victor, Billy might see Nick as a bystander in all of this and underestimate him.
If Stitch’s kidnapping plan still doesn’t make sense to most viewers, it’ll be especially scary for Mariah, who cannot relax knowing her abductor is on the loose. Would the failed doctor really come back to Genoa City and attempt another scheme?
After all of the emotional peaks of the Newman Media launch, Adam and Sally will decide to “reset”. Despite a shared attraction, perhaps it’s not in either of their best interests to mix business with pleasure right now.

There are two situations in which it’s recommended to play dead: 1) when confronted by a grizzly bear, and 2) when asked by a biological son who doesn’t trust you to leave. Sheila found herself in the latter scenario and promptly collapsed. Poor Finn will be emotionally distraught as he attends to her!
