Ryan Phillippe Shares Rare Photo With His Children On His Birthday

It is no secret that Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon’s two children look exactly like their parents, but in the latest photo shared by the actor, the resemblances are uncanny!

A day before his 44th birthday, the actor spent some quality time with his two children, daughter Ava, 19, and son Deacon, 14, and then shared a sweet photo of the trio to his Instagram. In the photo Phillippe is between his two children, and he captioned the post,  “me n mine” with a heart emoji.

It seems the three were together to celebrate not only Phillippe’s birthday but also Ava’s who turned 19 a day before her dad turned 44.

While it has always been commented that Ava looks exactly like her famous mom, there are a lot of similarities with her dad as well, but it is the resemblance between Phillippe and his son that is most noticeable in the photo, especially as the two are wearing similar square-rimmed glasses.

Of course, both Witherspoon and Phillippe, who were married from 1999 to 2006, are used to being told how much their children look exactly like them. “People come up to her [all the time]. We were at a premiere and they were congratulating her on her performance,” Witherspoon told E! News. “She’s like, ‘I’m not in the movie.’”

Despite their split over 10 years ago, the famous pair have always made sure to put their kids first.

“It is so important as divorced parents to keep that connection,” Phillippe said in 2010. “It makes the kids feel better that the parents are interacting. We go to all the school events together, and we’re there for each other.”

He added, “From one week to the next, you don’t know where you’re going to have to be for a promotional tour or on location. We’ve done a really good job with that, and our kids are happy and healthy and doing awesome.”
