Don’t like the idea of a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie? Megan Fox has some choice words for you.

The 28 year-old actress, who plays April in the upcoming film, fired back at critics during a press conference last week.

There’s been some outrage about things like whether the turtles are actually an alien race, and Megan shut it down: “Let me tell you something about those people: How much money did ‘Transformers 4′ make?” she said. “Exactly. Those people can complain – they all go to the theater. They’re gonna love it – and if they don’t love it, they can fuck off, and that’s the end of that.”

She’s right — Transformers: Age of Extinction, the fourth film in the Transformers franchise, has recently become the first film to make over $1 billion at the box office in 2014. The flick has pulled in $241 million to date in the United States, plus $763 million overseas. People may have their criticisms, but they vote with their money.

Reviews aren’t out yet for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but the rumor is that they won’t be good. Still, you can bet lots of Ninja Turtles fans — even ones who worry about their alien lineage — will be racing to the theater.

Will you see the movie?
