As everyone is well aware, body shaming has become a more and more prominent issue which has been especially fuelled by the rise of social media, leaving women to turn to all kinds of options and inventions to be or appear skinnier.
One of the newest things in Hollywood that stars like the Kardashians, Amber Rose and Jersey Shore’s JWoww have been constantly promoting is the waist shaper.
On the heels of her older sister Kim Kardashian praising the results of her waist trainer while showing off her hourglass figure, Khloe Kardashian, 30, posted her own photo from her closet revealing her own incredibly tiny waist.
“I am obsessed with my new waist shaper from @premadonna87!!!,” the reality star captioned the shocking photo. “I mean how cute is this shaper?!?! Snatching my waist and looking cute all at the same time!!! I definitely feel like a superhero in this waist shaper! While the results are optimal, the process of getting there makes it seem more like a torture device, although Khloe has been working very hard at the gym and with her personal trainer as well.
While Khloe looks great in the photo, this method is somewhat concerning as corsets have historically been known to damage organs and ribs and cause breathing problems, all in the name of “beauty.”
