Katie Holmes Is Returning To TV

Since her marriage to Tom Cruise ended in 2012, former Dawson’s Creek star Katie Holmes, 35, has kept a relatively low profile in Hollywood but has been making headlines more and more while attending fashion events and doing interviews.

Now four years after starring in the 2011 mini-series The Kennedys, Holmes is set to have a long running role in the upcoming third season of Ray Donovan. The show has already become Showtime’s second-highest rating drama behind Homeland as it tells the story of an L.A. “fixer” played by Liev Schreiber.

Holmes will apparently guest star as Paige, “a shrewd and chic businesswoman and the daughter of billionaire producer Andrew Finney (Ian McShane), who enlists Ray’s services.”

With the news of her role on Ray Donovan it seems Holmes career is once again on the upswing as she is rumored to reprising her role as  Jackie Kennedy in The Kennedys: After Camelot. She also played a major role in the movie adaption of the The Giver in 2014 and will be making her directorial debut with All We Had, based on a novel by Annie Weatherwax.

She also has two films completed, Mania Days and Woman In Gold co-starring Hollywood heavyweights Ryan Reynolds and Helen Mirren and is set for an April 3 release.
