Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman is reportedly engaged to his girlfriend of a few months, Francie Frane. The engagement comes 10 months after the passing of Chapman’s wife Beth Chapman following a battle with cancer.
The Dog the Bounty Hunter star reportedly confirmed the news of his engagement to Francie in an interview with The Sun where he said he wants to have “the biggest wedding there’s ever been,” adding it will be “one hell of a party.”

The couple told the outlet that the 67-year-old organized a romantic candlelit proposal in their home in Colorado.
Francie, 51, shared, “I think I had gone to pick up some food and then when I came back he had all the lights turned down with just a few lights on and a bunch of candles lit.”
“So when I came in I was like, ‘Wow, this is awesome’. Then he said, ‘Come in, sit down because I need to talk to you’.
“So I put all the food in the kitchen and I came in and he said, ‘I know that God brought you into my life and I don’t want to spend one moment of it without you’. And he got down on one knee and he opened the ring box and he said, ‘Will you marry me and spend the rest of our lives together?'”
The duo added they want to wait until after the lockdown to marry and Dog is even considering having fans attend!
“So we’re word negotiating right now because I want to open it up. I would love to have the biggest wedding there’s ever been,” he said about opening up the celebration to more than family and close friends.
“I’m sorry but that’s just me. I hope I can talk Francie into it and open it to my fans, the ‘Dog Pound,’ to everybody.”
Francie and Dog’s relationship began earlier this year after a brief stint where it seemed as though Dog was dating Beth’s longtime best friend Moon Angell.
A week ago, Dog took to his Instagram to share a photo of Francie and wrote, “I scream & Cry Beth where are you why did you leave me then I look up & see you Francie & the pain turns to a smile I LOVE YOU WOMAN !!”
