Dancing With the Stars‘ Emma Slater and Sasha Farber have separated after four years of marriage.
Breakup rumors were first sparked earlier this year when the couple stopped posting each other on social media, even during their wedding anniversary this past March.
The former couple first sparked split speculation earlier this year, when they stopped popping up on each other’s Instagram pages, even when their fourth wedding anniversary rolled around in March.
In October 2016, Slater and Farber got engaged during a live recording of Dancing with the Stars after performing a contemporary dance together to Bruno Mars’ “Just the Way You Are.” Following the performance, former host Tom Bergeron ushered the couple to the center of the ballroom, and told Farber: “Sasha, I always thought you had the potential to host.”
After this, Farber took the Slater’s hands and said, “Babe, I wanted to do this for such a long, long time.” He then got down on one knee and surprised Slater with a ring, and asked: “I love you so much. Will you marry me?” After the show it was revealed that Farber popped the question with a unique pink sapphire ring, which is the same color as her mother’s ring.
Farber and Slater tied the knot at Bella Blanca in Los Angeles in 2018. They had close friends and family by their side including some of their fellow Dancing with the Stars pros Lindsay Arnold, Hayley Erbert, Witney Carson, Brittany Cherry and Jenna Johnson, who were all bridesmaids.
