Actress Anne Heche is in “stable” condition following her recent L.A. car crash.
The Emmy winner’s loved ones have asked for the public’s prayers as she rests in the hospital. The actress was hospitalized on Friday in critical condition after a car accident on Friday in Los Angeles. She was reportedly inside a blue Mini Cooper that crashed into a home, causing the residence to catch fire.
According to TMZ, witnesses at the scene shared that the car first crashed into a garage of an apartment complex, then the car reversed and sped off, colliding with the nearby home shortly after.
According to a rep for Heche, the actress is “currently in stable condition” after the crash. “Her family and friends ask for your thoughts and prayers and to respect her privacy during this difficult time,” the rep says.
Fans, family and friends have expressed their support for the star while she recovers. Actor James Tupper, whom Heche was with for more than 10 years before their split in January 2018, also publicly sent love to Heche. “Thoughts and prayers for this lovely woman, actress and mother tonight Anne Heche,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of Heche and their son Atlas. “We love you.”
