‘The Masked Singer’ Reveals The Celebrity Behind Squiggly Monster

The Masked Singer had group C take the stage this week for playoffs.

Broccoli, Jellyfish, Mushroom, and Squiggly Monster completed their second performances of the season. this week. Cannon also brought out a guest judge disguised as Mr. TV who sang “Memories” by Maroon 5. After his performance, he revealed himself as season 2 winner Wayne Brady, then took a seat at the panelists’ table alongside Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke.

The performances continued for Group C with Mushroom performing Cher’s “If I Could Turn Back Time,” Broccoli serenading Scherzinger with Lionel Richie’s “Hello,” and Squiggly Monster with a rendition of “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” by The Rolling Stones. Jellyfish wrapped up the night with a soulful cover of Patsy Cline’s “Crazy.”

Ultimately once the votes were counted, Cannon revealed that it was Squiggly Monster at the bottom of the leaderboard and being sent home.

McCarthy and Thicke both submitted Bob Saget as their first impression guesses, and Jeong switched his from Fabio to Saget as well. Guest judge Brady agreed and suggested Saget — and they were all right!

“What you guys do here is why I wanted to do this,” Saget said once his identity was revealed. “Because, you know, we’re all going through a tough time. I get to be part of your joy and it’s needed so bad. They said, ‘Do you want to be Squiggly Monster?’ And they sent me a picture and I said, ‘Yeah!'”

The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays (8 p.m. ET) on Fox.
