Michelle Obama has been an American fashion icon for years, but we can’t help but notice her significant shift in style since starting her book tour! Typically the former first lady has reached for pieces that are clean, tailored and sophisticated, but recently she’s shaken things up and opted for a few super trendy pieces which have the Internet going crazy.
Her book tour so far has been filled with power pantsuits in a spread of chic variations, but her latest look for an interview with Sarah Jessica Parker was nothing of the sort. Michelle stepped out wearing a bright yellow Balenciaga dress with sparkling, thigh-high legging-boots tucked under the dress also by the brand. The look seemed quite out-of-the-box for the typically quite classic Michelle, but we couldn’t be more obsessed! It was a refreshing breath of fresh air and definitely got people buzzing about her style.
