Miley Cyrus Attends ‘Isn’t It Romantic’ Premiere On Husband Liam Hemsworth’s Behalf
Newlyweds Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus didn’t get to grace the red carpet together for the premiere of Hemsworth’s new film, Isn’t It Romantic, but Cyrus stepped up to represent her husband.
Over the weekend it was revealed that Hemsworth couldn’t attend the Grammys with his wife due to a recent hospitalization, and as he recovers, Cyrus took his place at his film premiere alongside his costars including Rebel Wilson, Priyanka Chopra and Adam Devine.
The 29-year-old Australian actor took to Instagram to share photos from his wife with his costars, writing, “Sorry I couldn’t make it to the @isntitromantic premier tonight guys. Been dealing with some pretty annoying health stuff the last couple days.” He added, “Lucky I have the best girl in the world to represent for me! Thanks for the support babe! I hope everyone enjoys the movie! It’s a perfect Valentine’s Day flick so if ya ain’t got nothin better to do then go see it! Love to all!”
According to reports, Hemsworth was hospitalized over the weekend after suffering from kidney stones and is now at home and resting which is preventing him from attending these events.
Cyrus, who married Hemsworth in December after nearly a decade together in an on-and-off relationship, also took to her Instagram, to share many photos of her gorgeous gown from the premiere and to also support her husband. “So proud of my hunky [email protected] & his newest movie #IsntItRomantic He unfortunately wasn’t able to attend due to health reasons… but he is recovering and taking this time to rest / heal. It’s hard for entertainers to put themselves before the project but this time it was crucial …. I am proud to represent him and his incredible work. So happy to see him shining in this comedy! He is the funniest person I know , and the world now gets to see the Liam I wake up to every day…. luckiest.”
Hemsworth’s Isn’t It Romantic costar, Wilson also shared an Instagram post of herself alongside Cyrus on the red carpet, writing, “In @liamhemsworth ‘s absence, he sent the next best/equal sexiest thing: @mileycyrus Thanks Miley for being so cool and championing our film. I’m so proud of your hubby!”
