In terms of the members of the Kardashian and Jenner clan, 19-year-old model Kendall Jenner seems to be the one to stay out of the drama and not cause controversy, until just recently.
On Sept. 16 while modelling for the Diane Von Furstenberg show, people noticed that Jenner was sporting a new accessory, but not one for the show. A nipple piercing could be seen through the light, white blouse she was donning and a few days later at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons event it was clearly seen through her white dress.
Although she has had the piercing for a few months, Jenner is not lying about it or trying to hide it, telling Page Six at an Estee Lauder event: “It is true. I was going through a period in my life, having a rough time, being a rebel and was like, ‘Let’s just do it.'” When it came down to it, however, she almost didn’t go through with it. “[I was] so terrified, I’m laying on the bed like, ‘Why am I doing this?’ Honestly, it hurt, but wasn’t as bad as everyone made it seem and maybe because everyone hyped it up and I thought it would be really, really bad. Then it wasn’t as bad as I expected.”
She also stated that she has learned to keep things private as her own star as well as her family’s is getting bigger and bigger in the world of celebrities. “I think I’m the most private out of my family. I’m always paying attention to that, and I try not to be too invasive into my personal life. When I was younger, I used to tweet a lot, everything I was doing and feeling. I can’t do that anymore, because it’s just giving people too much room to judge. I love posting a good picture, though.”
