The Teen Choice Awards red carpet is always filled with daring, youthful outfits and this year was no different! The teen stars of Hollywood aren’t afraid to make a risk or two with their outfits while trying to make a name for themselves and stand out, which is exactly why the fashion of this event is so interesting. Follow along for 12 of the best-dressed stars from this year’s 2018 Teen Choice Awards:
12. Lucy Hale
Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale stepped out at this year’s Teen Choice Awards wearing a stunning multi-color dress that featured a dramatic strapless neckline and a slit up the center. We love the black cutout detailing on this dress and the unique abstract pattern. For accessories, she kept her look minimal with a black clutch and strappy sandals but amped up the drama with her makeup look which pulled from the teal tones of her dress.
11. Storm Reid
A Wrinkle in Time actress Storm Reid looked chic and fearless at the Teen Choice Awards wearing a dress which featured a print reminiscent of leopard print with purple detailing laced throughout. She pulled on the purple color of the dress by topping the look with metallic purple Western-inspired boots, which has been a huge fashion trend this summer and moving forward into the fall.
10. Chloe Grace Moretz
Chloe Grace Moretz showed off her high-fashion side on this year’s Teen Choice Awards where she rocked an oversized blazer paired with sequin shorts. The look initially seems somewhat unconventional, but Chloe rocked the look confidently, which is really what made this such a stellar fashion moment.
9. Nina Dobrev
Nina Dobrev rocked sunny yellow on the 2018 Teen Choice Awards red carpet this year! We love the bright, summery color on Dobrev’s olive complexion and brunette locks. The button details made the look a little more casual, which was suiting for the event. For shoes, she rocked strappy metallic sandals which added a little glitz to the otherwise quite simple look.
8. Cozi Zuehlsdorff
Freaky Friday actress Cozi Zuehlsdorff looked feminine and chic on this year’s Teen Choice Awards red carpet. She rocked a peach midi dress that featured a soft floral print and a fit-and-flare style skirt. She topped the look with unique sandals that featured pom-pom detailing along the strap. We love that Zuehlsdorff’s look is a combination of sophisticated and youthful.
7. Maddie Ziegler
Dancer Maddie Ziegler stepped out looking fun and stylish for the Teen Choice Awards this year! She rocked a matching silk set that played off the pajama trend in the most fabulous way possible. She even topped her look with a messy bedhead-inspired ponytail and a scrunchie.
6. Vanessa Morgan
Riverdale star Vanessa Morgan rocked a flirty two-piece set that looked seriously stunning! We love the crisp shade of white on Morgan’s complexion and the sheer, polka-dot overlay on top of the nude skirt was perfection. Two-pieces are always a great alternative to a conventional dress and Morgan pulled off this look perfectly.
5. Lili Reinhart
There were quite a few sequined looks at the 2018 Teen Choice Awards, but unfortunately, not all were for the best! Lili Reinhart, however, totally pulled off the look. She donned a strapless magenta gown that was entirely covered in glittering sequins. The dress fit her like a glove and the dainty belt around her waist made this look come across soft and feminine rather than tacky.
4. Olivia Holt
Disney star Olivia Holt is another Teen Choice attendee that pulled off the sequins trend this year! Her look featured a deep emerald color that paired perfectly with her platinum blonde locks. The look brought the drama with the deep neckline and puff sleeves and by skipping accessories and rocking nude shoes she really allowed the bold dress to do all the talking.
3. Anna Kendrick
Anna Kendrick looked delicate and girly in this soft pink slip dress! We love the asymmetrical sequin detailing which brought a little sparkle and glamour to the minidress. She parted her sleek, dark locks down the center and rocked matching silver metallic heels which played well off the sequin detailing of her dress.
2. Camila Mendes
Camila Mendes looked mature and ethereal in a powder pink midi-length dress this year. Mendes has had a few questionable fashion moments in the past, which is why we were quite excited to see her opt for something so classic and innately pretty. The look hit her at a flattering mid-calf length and featured a soft texture and corset detailing throughout.
1. Candace Cameron-Bure
Candace Cameron-Bure looked stunning at the Teen Choice Awards this year! She rocked a coral satin midi dress that was the perfect combination of sultry and fun. The twist detailing along the waist added something unique while the thigh-high slit added a little sex appeal. She topped the look with strappy sandals and simple dangling earrings.
