Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak, has passed down her stardom to her daughter Brielle, and she is trying to be just like another 18-year-old reality star, Kylie Jenner.
On Wednesday, Nov. 25, Brielle took to her Instagram to reveal she got lip fillers, going to the same surgeon who is behind Jenner’s now very famous pout. Brielle posted a clip of getting the procedure done and wrote, “Thank you thank you thank you!!! to my favorite, @simonourianmd1!!! my lips are my biggest insecurity and I’m so happy w my results now! you truly are the best! even though I hate needles you made this very easy! thank you again #simonourian #epione.”
As fans will remember, Kylie spent a lot of time avoiding the question of whether her lips were natural or not; however, following a viral and dangerous lip challenge in which people tried to get a pout like Jenner’s, the then 17-year-old admitted to getting fillers. She later raved about Dr. Ourian to the New York Times, stating, “Dr. Ourian’s the best, and he’s super natural about it. I was going to go to somebody before, and it was just looking crazy. I would recommend that anyone who gets it done go for a filler that lasts only two to four months. It’s annoying to keep going back, but you have the option of stopping it.”
It isn’t only stars who want to look like the Kardashians either. A cosmetic surgery group, Transform, based in the U.K. have reported that they’ve seen a 73% increase in patients citing the Kardashian/Jenner members as inspiration for the surgery they want. Calling the craze the “Dash Effect,” they also stated that after Jenner admitted to having lip fillers they saw a 700% rise in inquiries about the procedure.
