Gabrielle Union and Zach Braff are teaming up for a Cheaper By The Dozen remake on Disney+!

Braff confirmed the news on Instagram, writing, “I dreamt I married @gabunion and had 12 kids. It came true!!!! Written by Kenya Barris!!!!! Let’s GO!”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will tell the story of a multiracial, blended family of 12. The script is set to be co-written and produced by black-ish creator Kenya Barris. Gail Lerner, known for black-ish and Grace and Frankie, is set to direct.

This Cheaper By The Dozen remake comes 18 years after the 2003 film starring Bonnie Hunt and Steve Martin hit theaters. The film also starred Tom Welling, Piper Perabo, Hilary Duff, and Alyson Stoner, among others.  A sequel, Cheaper by the Dozen 2, followed just two years later and starred Eugene Levy as the father of a rival family that also had twelve kids.

The original Cheaper by the Dozen was released in 1950 and was based on the autobiographical book of the same name by Frank Bunker Gilbreth Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey.
