The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton just stepped out wearing a Queen-Elizabeth inspired ensemble in a vibrant shade of green!

The Queen once explained that the reason Royals wear bright colors is to ensure that they can easily be spotted in a crowd during public appearances. This is most definitely the case with the Eponine designed dress Kate wore while visiting the Alperton Community School for Children’s Mental Health Week. The Duchess looked as stunning as ever in bright green, custom-made shift dress that definitely had all eyes on her. She paired the funky, mod-feeling dress with black tights and a pair of lace-up suede booties. She wore her hair in loose, bouncy curls and a minimal, natural makeup look as per usual.

This look felt very different for Kate and is a brand new dress we’ve never seen before and hasn’t been re-purposed from something she’s previously worn. Kate typically opts for muted jewel tones and neutrals, but this look felt like something straight out of Queen Elizabeth’s brightly colored wardrobe. This also felt atypical for Kate because it wasn’t covered in buttons and was quite minimal when it came to hardware, which is typically the style of pieces she opts for.
