Things have not been easy for Teen Mom OG star Catelynn Baltierra recently, and although she only returned home from treatment for her mental health issues a few weeks ago, she has announced she is going back for treatment again.
On Wednesday, January 17, the reality star took to her social media to share the announcement with fans and followers, writing, “Well they say third times a charm… I’m going back to treatment people for 6 weeks to work on my trauma and getting on different meds. THANK YOU @TylerBaltierra I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!! You are my light!! And nova you are my sunshine #KeepTalkingMH.”
When a fan asked about Catelynn’s decision to go back so soon after returning home, questioning if it was from trauma, or placing her first daughter Carly for adoption, Catelynn simply replied back, “My childhood trauma!!!!” She then reiterated the point to a separate follower who responded to Catelynn’s inital tweet with, “Something is going on here,” and Catelynn replied, “Yeah my childhood that’s what’s going on.”
Previous to this trip, the 25-year-old, who now shares a daughter Nova with her husband Tyler, checked into rehab in the springof 2016, and then in mid-November re-admitted herself after revealing she was suffering from suicidal thoughts.
Through the course of the popular MTV reality series, Catelynn and Tyler have been very open and honest about Catelynn’s battle with mental health issues and severe depression which was heightened following the birth of their daughter Nova as Catelynn suffered from postpartum depression.
